Byron, a lifelong Chester County resident, has been around the Real Estate business his entire life. Son of a Main Line Real Estate developer, Byron has experienced first hand residential and commercial development, management and sales.
Byron received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Delaware where he joined the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. After college, Byron started working for Pulte Homes, one of the nation's largest home builders. As an associate with the Land Development Department, Byron worked hand in hand with local municipalities seeking approvals and planning new communities in addition to establishing homeowners' associations for various developments. Byron developed strong contacts with municipalities in the five county area and Southern New Jersey. Byron has experience taking projects through the approvals process and is very knowledgeable about site engineering and site improvements.
Looking for more autonomy, Byron transitioned into Real Estate Sales at RE/MAX Classic in St. Davids. At RE/MAX Byron won top awards for sales volume and was inducted into the 100% Club. With an opportunity to better serve his Buyer and Seller clients, Byron joined Weichert Realtors® Devon office where he specializes in New Construction and Builder Representation as well as land development opportunities. He also represents Buyers and Sellers throughout Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia Counties. Byron possesses the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation.
Melissa has been active in the Real Estate industry for more than 12 years. Starting in the business as an assistant to a top producer, Melissa quickly learned what it took to become a successful Real Estate Professional.
In the early years of her career, Melissa was affiliated with a national franchise in Montgomery County. After a series of mergers between local real estate companies, Melissa expanded her expertise as a New Home Sales Manager for Pulte Homes of the Delaware Valley. She represented the builder's interest in various communities throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Melissa is a Certified New Home Specialist™.
Melissa graduated with high honors from Wesley College, Dover, Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration. She is currently enrolled in a Masters Program in Leadership Development at Penn State Great Valley.
Melissa is an instructor for Delaware County Community College teaching the required pre-licensing courses, Real Estate Practices and Real Estate Fundaments.
Melissa is an Associate Broker with Weichert Realtors® and holds the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation along with the Graduate REALTORS® Institute (GRI) designation. She also holds a New Jersey Real Estate Sales License. She and Byron work together in representing Builders, Buyers and Sellers throughout the Delaware Valley area.
Byron and Melissa met at Pulte Homes and were married in May of 2004. They reside in Chester Springs, Chester County with their standard poodle, Remy and their miniature poodle, Bailey.
